Rockford Sportsman’s Club hosted it’s Seventh Annual Michigan State Championship NSSF Rimfire Challenge on Saturday, 13-May. RSC welcomed Ninety-Six shooters who enjoyed great weather and lots of fellowship and competition.
Eight different states were represented, with participants from as far away as Alabama and Iowa. Overall Match Winner (for the second consecutive year) was sixteen year old Mathieu Langston from Ohio, who fired about 230 rounds to complete the eight stage course in only 66.35 seconds. Congratulations Mathieu!
Scores are attached, both overall and by Category/Class
National and local companies as Ruger, Tandemkross, Hogue, Hi-Viz Sights, and Cabela’s donated over $5000 worth of door prizes that were given to participating shooters by random drawing. RSC will donate half of the net proceeds of this match to one or more U.S. Veterans groups. Past matches have resulted in donations of over $6500 to such groups.
Thanks also to all of the long-serving Volunteers, without whom none of this could happen!
