WHILE I AM WAITING FOR AN OFFICIAL COMMENT TO ADD TO THIS GALLERY I THOUGHT I WOULD MENTION A FEW THOUGHTS OF MY OWN. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE WERE SIXTY-ONE SHOOTERS AT THE TOURNAMENT. THE TOURNAMENT HAD MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSIONS THAT ALLOWED FOR PARTICIPANTS FROM THE DETROIT AREA TO ATTEND. THE PICTURES IN THE GALLERY FOLLOW THE PROGRESSION OF THE EVENT DAY ENDING WITH THE PRESENTATION OF AWARDS.

This tournament takes place in Feb generally after the state indoor championship and just prior to National indoor. In 2009 we had poor weather and about a half dozen brave souls ventured over from the east side of the state to attend. This year about a third of the entrants were from outside the local area. We were very pleased to see folks travel from the east as well as down from the north to attend. The tournament is governed by FITA rules and we encourage all who are interested to attend. We warmly welcome new archers. Thanks to Ron Parker for all his support during these special events.
